Gile family letters, [ca. 1895-1905].

Letters written primarily to Matilda Crellin Gile of Portland, Oregon, from her daughter Katherine L. Gile and her son Albion L. Gile. Most letters are undated. Subjects include family matters, shopping, travel, home decoration, friends, and social events. Some letters were sent from Katherine to her sister Eleanor. Many letters from Katherine were sent from southern California and San Francisco. Letters from Albion were sent from St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H., and Yale University.
